CHFA Show Date: Sunday, September 27 Location: Exhibition Place, 100 Princes' Blvd, Toronto ON M6K 3C3 Volunteer Shift Time: 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. (approximately) # of Volunteers: 6-8 volunteers Activity: Assisting in collecting food from vendors, moving food to loading dock, helping build pallets for transporting the food back to Second Harvest.
Thank- at-Thon Calling Campaign
Taking place October 13–23, Thank-a-Thon is Second Harvest’s way to show our supporters how grateful we are for their trust in our mission. As a volunteer, you’ll connect with individual donors to personally share our thanks, track your call activity and report your volunteer hours.
There is NO solicitation involved. You will not be asking for donations. This role is all about connecting with our supporters and expressing our appreciation. It’s a great opportunity for those looking to contribute remotely over a short period of time, with the flexibility to participate during the day. No evening or weekend calls are required.
What to expect
Full virtual training will be provided, including a call script and FAQs. \
Calls will be made through CallHub, a digital calling platform. You will not use your personal phone to make calls.
This opportunity is open to volunteers aged 18+ only.
We are seeking 15–20 volunteers from across Canada.
